The wash cycle worked fine straight away, then i decided to dry some things and checked them after a while to find they didnt seem to be drying very well at all.I checked the manual to see if i was doing something wrong, but i wasnt.
Then the lights were flashing saying contact engineer. I switched it off and a bit later decided to try it again to find it worked fine on the wash cycle, it was summer so i didnt need to use the dryer, the lights were fine so i thought perhaps it was just one of those things and kept on using the machine. Every once in a while it did the same thing and stopped working with all lights flashing. It seemed to rectify itself if i turned it off then back on again.
It was no sooner out of warranty when it stopped working completely, then i wished i had sent it back on the first day i got it. I thought it was good value for money and a space saving machine, but its turned out to be a complete waste of money and im left with no washer or dryer now and i regret not buying them seperatly. I will never buy another washer dryer again or an indesit. I have since used a hotpoint which definately gets more water out even though its got the same 1400 spin speed, but the noise when on spin is hideous, like a train running through the house.
I have now resorted to looking through the which magazine online and searched the tested machines. One of the candy machines comes out very well in the tests with a two year guarantee at a very good price, or the samsung with the free 5 year warranty which i might buy as im now very dubious about buying anything that only comes with a 1 year warranty like the indesit and i dont want to pay a penny extra for the warranty either.
