I bought this based on Wich.co.uk's reviews where it was rated as the second best washer-dryer. This machine is a little expensive but it is well worth it. Bought this Washer Dryer and it turned up with a broken lid which was replaced by engineer (but had to wait home). 2 months later it broke down and called engineer who advised that 6 new parts needed! Without washing machine for 2 1/2 weeks and AEG not intersted in a replacement product in fact they didn't even return my calls and, oh yes, the lid is broken again. Do not buy this product and d... I chose this for the large drum and fast spin speed. It is an excellent product from a reliable company. Not the cheapest but I prefer quality of build. My old machine was hot and cold fill, so the programme took about 40 mins, but this is cold fill only and takes about an hour for the same "recipe".
