Use only twice?

Pros: It did clean
Cons: Only twice....

I bought one of these from Currys, used it then, cleaned and put away as per instructions, and again just before Christmas. When I tried to use it for only the third time last week, it would not let any water down. I contacted the retailer who refused to exchange as it was more than 28 days since purchase. Both Currys and Vax are only prepared to offer a repair, despite the item only being used twice, it's not an item that you have in daily use, and you don't expect it to break after 2!!! uses. At the repair shop I found it was the 4th one in this week, all under guarantee with the SAME problem - and it's Tuesday today - I think there's a serious problem there, reliability is poor and customer service gets a huge thumbs down from me.
