    • Pros: Very easy to use, works well
    • Cons: poor quality

    This machine is very easy to use and is effective at cleaning, the amount of dirt in the waste tank has to be seen to be beleived! The upholstery tool is also easy to use but is less effective as it only cleans the surface, and if your spilt drink or whatever has soaked in then it will remain in the padding.     Vax V206 broke after three washes

    • Pros: cleans well. Easy to use.
    • Cons: but only worked three times.

    Bought the vax v206 in march 2005. Used it three times in 2005, I put it away for the winter. When I came to use it this year it would not dispense any water. I have taken it for repair and told that it will cost £64-00, as it needs a new pump. It is now out of manufactures guarantee. I have written to Vax Ltd explaining all this and await their reply.     Vax rapide deluxe V026 =rubbish!

    • Pros: Affordable
    • Cons: Unusable!

    Fairly simple to assemble, reasonable price (from Tesco.com) - cleaned the carpets quite well 3 or 4 times - then the suction worked but not the fluid dispenser!! No fluid = no cleaner! Very expensive to repair so not worth it and as it was ONE WEEK out of the guarantee, not replacable. The worst £115 I've ever spent, I won't ever buy VAX again. Read Full Review »

    Use only twice?

    • Cons: Only twice....

    I bought one of these from Currys, used it then, cleaned and put away as per instructions, and again just before Christmas. When I tried to use it for only the third time last week, it would not let any water down. I contacted the retailer who refused to exchange as it was more than 28 days since purchase.
