I wish I had read more reviews before wasting my money on such a flimsy, poorly designed machine. It is difficult to unwind the cable without first unwinding the tool hose. The clip that holds the tool hose broke off with the slightest knock against the door. The lever that switches over from floor to tools has a plastic shaft about 5mm diameter. This broke on the third carpet. The lights that indicate the optimum speed gave a false reading after using it for under an hour. The drive belts for the pump and brush are very thin. The small plastic filter got sucked down the vacuum pipe into the fan. The revolving brush is retained by one small screw and a small piece of plastic at each end. In order to clean out the fluff that gets sucked up you have to remove two screws which are screwed into the plastic body. I wonder how long it will be before the plastic thread gets stripped. In my overall opinion this carpet cleaner has the build quality of a cheap childs toy. I don't know how they have the nerve to market it.
