    • Pros: Nice looking machine
    • Cons: Does not dry after 50 minutes blows all electrics

    After 5/6 call-outs the engineers still cannot fix the fault and having written to Hotpoint had no reply as to what the fault could be. I have had an old Hotpoint for many years and that machine is still going so it doesn't say much for the new machine, as no one can tell me what to do about it. Read Full Review »

    do not touch this machine

    bought the machine from comet february 2006, had an engineer out 5 times in the first 6 months, new machine october 2 2006 same problem new machine
    6 november 2006 have asked for refund however indesit/hoover will not give our money back.

    I chose this Hotpoint appliance despite having read some poor recent reviews about Hotpoint tumble driers. This was because I wanted a British built product and I still had confidence in the Hotpoint Brand. This was until the appliance mechaninically failed on only it's second cycle!     Not so much a review, but a comment on the review above. Dude, the tumble dryer is meant to condense the water out from your clothes and and store it, the water is NOT meant to condense out on the various windows and walls in the room.     Nice little machine, but don't put in conservatory

    • Pros: Big Drum so clothes are less creased
    • Cons: Steams up windows

    After traipsing into the garage in the freezing cold to use my hose dryer, I decided on a condenser dryer which I could put inside our house, in the conservatory.

    I chose the CTD00T as it was sandstone and had a flat blank front, features that made it look like it obviously wasn't a dryer to blend in with the room.
