    crap machine and even worse service from indesit when phoning

    in two years this machine has had everything changed but the fuse !!!!
    in two occasions the engineers that had previously agreed a repair time never even appeared,
    hotpoint indesit offered me an exchange/upgrade as the engineers failed to repair my machine within a (6)week period, as i stated already the service is ABYSMAL,as we didnt want the same machine and went for the option of an upgrade to... Read Full Review »

    My expreince

    • Pros: you dont need a hose or holes in the wall
    • Cons: it keeps breaking

    I have only had my dryer since dec 06 and already had to have the enginer out 4 times to fix various faults inc tripping the electric and short the system!

    Hotpoint CTD00 - don't buy one

    • Cons: Doesn't work, expensive to repair

    I wanted a bigger tumble dryer than my old one and a condenser rather than vent. this looked just the job. Started making noises after a couple of months - got that fixed gbp 90. And now at 16 months it's yet again not working & for the scrap heap - unless I want to pay another gbp90 to get it fixed again - or, they very kindly offered, i could pay gbp140 to renew warranty for another year.

    This product is a waste of money. Although it looks good it is disgusting that we bought this tumble dryer for over £200.00 and 16 months later it has just packed in. This item is not used excessively and I cant believe for the price that it cost it has broken down.     MY SIS ASKED ME TO CHOOSE A DRYER FOR HER AND LIKE A MUG I CHOSE THIS. SHE HAD IT FOR FOUR DAYS AND HAD TO CALL HOTPOINT WHO - FAIR ENOUGH - SENT OUT AN ENGINEER THE NEXT DAY.
