    Never buy hotpoint

    • Cons: Very unreliable

    I have had this dryer for 6 months i have now a repair man out twice,he now tells me the motor has gone. I bought this from comet online using my personal credit card for a hair salon,i cant get it repaired under warranty as it is not at my home address (the address on my credit card)I would have to take the dryer to my home,impossible as i dont have a van.Therefore i now have to buy another dryer...     Trips out electric

    I have had this machine for year now and it has tripped the electric for the second time. I have searched the dryer with a torch and there is fluff everywhere. I have tried to remove the top it is very difficult. I am not a happy chappy. Read Full Review »

    A nice looking machine with a large capacity, slightly noisy and gets a bit hot in the kitchen.

    Not a good product - owned for one year

    • Cons: Unreliable, noisy and in effective

    I have owned this machine for 12 months and during that time it has broken down 3 times. Had the issue mentioned by other reviewers of fan noise and then stopped working all together. Drying is very poor and I do not recommend it to anyone! Read Full Review »

    hotpoint CTD00- poor design

    • Cons: noisy, poor filter, trips electric

    this machine started to play up after 12 months of having bought it.it started to trip the electrics. i done all the checks and i couldn't understand why. i maintained it like the manual said, and cleaned the condenser regularly. i then took the condenser out to look at the back. looking with my torch i could see a lot of fluff and water built up. i removed what i could then it started again. ...
