    DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE FEEZER

    • Pros: Nice size
    • Cons: Serious fault, it freezes up causing the fridge to go warm!

    At 13 months old in July 2008 my fridge stopped working. Just out of warranty, I had to pay £99 for engineer. Turns out that solid ice had formed in the freezer behind the freezer plate that stopped the cool air serving the fridge due to blockage. It measured 12 x 5 inch.

    Have for a few months - then say it's 8.8

    • Cons: It certainly is

    Frost free that refuses to defrost itself -
    modification fitted after buying Repair warranty
    Takes Hotpoint on average 2 weeks to send an engineer
    Customer service 'close' complaint when you persist that a design fault requiring a modification is their fault.
    Unit turns itself on and off so you don't know what it has been doing and run the risk of food poinsoning
