DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE FEEZER

Pros: Nice size
Cons: Serious fault, it freezes up causing the fridge to go warm!

At 13 months old in July 2008 my fridge stopped working. Just out of warranty, I had to pay £99 for engineer. Turns out that solid ice had formed in the freezer behind the freezer plate that stopped the cool air serving the fridge due to blockage. It measured 12 x 5 inch.
Jan 2009 the same happened again. I managed to do what the engineer did and thaw it out with a hair dryer! Solid block of ice it takes ages! This is a design fault that Hotpoint will not admit to - see the web, just google model + fault. DO NOT BUY THIS appliance.
