Zanussi Dishwasher - 6 place settings

  • Pros: Easy to use; delay timer; Eco wash cycle; quiet
  • Cons: Lack of space for cups etc; door not made to open after wash cycle

I have had this dishwaser for nearly a year. On the whole I am very satisfied - it looks good and works well, and is simple to use, but has a reasonable selection of settings. One small niggle - it would be useful if the door opened automatically at the end of the cycle, to allow drying. One major niggle. My previous diswasher (I had it for 25 years) was also a 6 place setting. It was about 7cm higher. This allowed it to have a full width drawer at the top (and a small spray arm in the roof), which took at least 6 cups, 6 mugs, and an assortment of ramekins, small bowls, shallow dishes/casseroles and cooking implements. I miss this extra space a lot, as in this dishwasher there is only space for 4 cups, 4 mugs, and a few assorted extras.
