Fire hazard confirmed

See earlier reviews - I can confirm that Hotpoint dishwashers do catch fire. Mine was not the model listed in the earlier review it was a BFV68. But I imagine the smoke is just the same! Clearly a generic fault, so it would seem possible that all Hotpoint dishwashers are deathtraps.
Nobody hurt in this case, but significant damage to the kitchen
Would I buy Hotpoint again?
Not at any price, and if you value your life I recommend you don't
