    • Pros: Good cleaning but dishwasher will not last.
    • Cons: Poor build quality.

    The built quality on the BFI620 is lacking. The quality of the hose and clips are very poor and prone to leaking. This machine is designed to last only 2 years. My machine broke down after 13 months when the water would not get hot. A hotpoint engineer callout charge is £90 and with the cost of parts the machine is beyond economic repair. Read Full Review »

  2. Worked for 2 years

    • Pros: Fitted to my new house by builders
    • Cons: Broke after only 2 years

    Hotpoint seem to make machines last for only 2 years. Had this dishwasher from 2003 december and now its broke.

    Totally flooded my kitchen and the repair price is £150. I have had several hotpoint products fail. Read Full Review »

  3. very unreliable

    • Pros: reasonably cheap
    • Cons: costly to repair

    I had this model installed in March 2003, this is now May 2006. The first dishwasher flooded my brand new kitchen and this replacement which is only 2 years old is now broken. I will have to buy a new one as it is not worth repairing. Read Full Review »
