  1. All design and no function - don't buy one

    • Pros: goes well with the kitchen and gets good comments from friends
    • Cons: Makes lousy coffee, is hard to use and doesn't work

    Looks great. Doesn't work. Awful after sales service from AEG. For such an expensive piece of kit this thing just doesn't function. It has a clumsy water system that is just a pain and it makes bad coffee.

  2. Avoid

    • Pros: Beautiful
    • Cons: Unreliable and AEG won't help you

    Beautiful bit of kit that doesn't work! Problems are : 1. Bad design. Either that or it's broken (AEG now taken it back) 2. AEG customer services inability / unwillingness to do anything!

    It may be the design at fault. A microscopically small pellet of coffee is used. Around 25% of expected volume on a decent machine.
